Safety on MiOON
MiOON helps you find and post listings, but does not replace independent verification of a property, seller, or transaction terms. All arrangements and payments happen directly between the buyer and seller.
What MiOON does
Reviews listings before publication
Every listing goes through moderation before it's published. The MiOON team checks that the listing complies with the platform rules, including category, description, price, photos, contact details, and other stated information.
Moderation does not mean a full legal, technical, or factual verification of the property, seller, ownership, authority, licences, transaction terms, or the accuracy of all information in the listing.
A phone number is verified by a one-time code at registration or through another process provided by the platform. This verification helps reduce anonymity but does not confirm ownership, the seller's good faith, authority to transact, or the accuracy of every external contact channel.
Accepts reports
If a listing looks suspicious, log in, open the listing card, and click "Report". Select a reason and add a note if needed.
The moderation team will review the report. A report alone does not automatically remove a listing.
Does not replace transaction due diligence
A verification status means only the scope of verification explicitly stated next to the relevant status on the platform.
Depending on the type of status, the verification may relate to contact details, listing information, a field data-collection specialist's site visit, or another individual element.
A verification status does not confirm ownership, legal title, authority to dispose of a property, absence of encumbrances, lawfulness of a transaction, or the accuracy of all information in the listing.
MiOON is not a party to a transaction, payment agent, escrow service, broker, or guarantor of payments or performance. Before making any payment, signing documents, or transferring assets, independently verify all material circumstances of the transaction.
Before viewing a property
- Compare the price, characteristics, and photos with similar listings.
- Check the address and location of the property. If the seller has not hidden the exact address, a precise point may be shown on the map. If the exact address is hidden, the platform shows an approximate location. Confirm the exact address with the seller before visiting.
- Ask for additional up-to-date photos or video if the listing doesn't provide enough information.
- Clarify the rental or sale terms before visiting: price, deposit, term, included services, and any restrictions.
At the viewing and during the transaction
- Where possible, meet at the property itself.
- Don't rush into payment if the seller or their representative is applying pressure.
- Before transferring money, verify the recipient's identity and bank details, the property or business documents, the representative's authority, the material terms of the transaction, and the deposit or advance return procedure.
- Before signing important documents, obtain independent professional advice appropriate for your transaction.
- For a business purchase, request documents that allow you to verify assets, liabilities, leases, licences, and financial performance.
Do not transfer money based solely on a listing, a conversation, or a phone call.
MiOON does not accept, process, or facilitate payments between users. All payments happen outside the platform directly between the parties.
Do not share one-time codes you receive for login, registration, account deletion, or confirmation of other actions on MiOON with any third party.
If something looks suspicious
Report the listing if you notice signs of fraud, inaccurate photos, a suspicious price, a duplicate, wrong category, wrong location, or any other risk.
To do so, log in, open the listing card, and click "Report". Select a reason and add a note if needed.
If the issue is with the seller's behaviour after you made contact, write to support@mioon.com. Include the listing link, the phone number associated with your account, and a brief description.
Submitting a report does not mean the listing is automatically removed or the account suspended.

Protecting your account and data
Do not share one-time codes you receive for registration, login, account deletion, or confirmation of other actions with any third party.
Before entering your phone number, confirmation code, or other personal data, check the website domain and the communication channel being used. MiOON staff should never ask a user for a valid one-time code.
MiOON does not have access to the content of your conversations on Telegram, WhatsApp, LINE, or other external channels. Keep your correspondence and documents if they may be needed to protect your interests.
Full details of how personal data is processed are set out in the MiOON Privacy Policy.
What MiOON does not guarantee
MiOON does not guarantee physical inspection of every property, business, or other listing. Certain listings may undergo additional verification, with information collected by field data-collection specialists engaged by Siteform Co., Ltd. on behalf of the Operator.
The fact of such verification or data collection does not make MiOON, the Operator, Siteform Co., Ltd., or the field specialist a party to the transaction, a broker, a user's representative, a payment agent, or a guarantor of performance.
MiOON does not accept or hold users' money, does not facilitate payments, and does not guarantee the return of funds transferred outside the platform.
MiOON may accept a report and take action regarding an account or listing, but is not obliged to resolve a private dispute between the parties. For a serious dispute, financial loss, or signs of a crime, contact an independent lawyer, financial adviser, or the competent government authorities.
